 Internationally acclaimed award-winning design by I.M. Pei & Partners. At the base of the prism-shaped skyscraper lies an oasis of water fountains under a canopy of 225 native Texas cypress trees. This downtown oasis comprises colorful seasonal flowers, waterfalls, 172 bubbler fountains and one central fountain. The central court fountain is one of the world's most complex, consisting of 360 computer-driven water jets.

Lobby
Fountain Place's lobby reflects the same sleek sophistication with polished green marble and brass insets. The lobby has access to Wells Fargo Bank, restaurants and a pedestrian tunnel connecting The Fairmont Hotel and other downtown office buildings.
Floors
Floorplates vary from 3,560 sq. ft. on top levels to 36,690 sq. ft. in the lower levels, with an average of approximately 25,000 square feet.

HVAC
The building has a state-of-the-art Variable Air Volume System utilizing 1.7 million gallon chilled water thermal storage system. The savings in electricity costs from chilling the water at off-peak demand hours is passed along to Tenants.
 Elevators
Fountain Place has five banks of high speed state-of-the-art Fujitec elevators providing 26 passenger elevators for tenants' use, plus two service elevators. Additionally, two garage elevators provide service from the building lobby to parking levels B-1, B-2 and B-3.

Amenities include Wells Fargo Bank, Avanti Restaurant, Au Bon Pain, the well-known French bakery café, La Piazza and the Fountain Place Café, located on the fifth floor, Happy House Deli, Gateway Newstand, Car Wash and Fountain Place Cleaners.
